KAFFA, the Portuguese encapsulated coffee brand and a major player in the manufacture of coffee capsules in Europe and Portugal, has strengthened its range of organic coffees with the launch of 4 new products. Sourced from the best coffee plantations around the world, the new organic blends were fully developed by KAFFA in its analysis and quality laboratory.
In total there are four new organic products now available on the national market: 3 references dedicated to the Dolce Gusto system (Honduras - aromatic Arabica coffee, intensity 8 - Colombia - intensity 7 is an intense coffee, floral and rich in chocolate aromas - Decaf - with a natural decaffeination method and without any chemical additives, it incorporates a high aroma and acidity, intensity 4) and 1 reference dedicated to the Delta Q system (Arabica - intense and aromatic intensity 9).
The range of KAFFA organic coffee is completed with the existing blend dedicated to the KAFFA (Heart) system.
With this launch, KAFFA becomes the largest national producer of encapsulated organic coffee, presenting a broad portfolio of 5 references. Holder, since 2016, of 3 certifications related to quality and food safety and 3 product certifications - highlighting UTZ (which proves the practice of standards that ensure agricultural production and responsible coffee supply), Organic (international distinction of organic coffee production) and the most recent FairTrade (which proves the purchase of coffee at a fair price, ensuring compliance with special social, economic and environmental standards) - KAFFA reaffirms its commitment to provide the best coffee, from the best world origins.
"During this year we developed a very intense work to be able to present these new biological references in our portfolio. In addition to the origins already used, we went in search of new origins. We did our field work in the best plantations in Peru and Colombia, we chose the best coffee from these origins and, back home, in the laboratory, we carried out countless tests and developed the most "tasteful" recipes for the Portuguese public" says Maria Inês Costa, responsible for Product Development at KAFFA, adding "we are very satisfied with the final result and convinced that the new organic range will be a success".
Available in the usual points of sale and in the online store, the new Bio range presents a new image that unequivocally identifies the organic origin of the various products.
