KAFFA supports, for the second consecutive year, the Olaias school grouping The support, directed to students with visual impairment, consisted in the offer of school supplies worth 6,000 euros.
Continuing its commitment to support the local community and reinforcing its citizenship policies, KAFFA supports the Olaias School Grouping for Christmas 2015.
This is the second consecutive year that KAFFA supports the Olaias School Grouping. In 2014, KAFFA offered a Braille printer and an electronic Braille typewriter.
"The generosity of KAFFA has been translated into a real change in the lives of the students of this school" says Francisco Simões, Director of the Olaias School Grouping, adding "for this group of children, accessible technologies are indeed fundamental and strongly contribute to their school and social inclusion" .
Óscar Galvão, President of Galvão & Noronha, the company that owns KAFFA Cafés, says "Christmas is a time of harmony, unity and solidarity, so we set ourselves a very simple but very rewarding challenge: the funds intended for the purchase of Christmas gifts for customers and suppliers was channeled to the purchase of school supplies for visually impaired students from the Olaias School Grouping. We had already done this in 2014 and the feedback we got was so gratifying that we decided to continue this initiative. I am sure that our customers and suppliers will support and applaud this action".
