KAFFA Cafés, the leading national brand in the production of compatible coffee capsules, has invested 1 million euros to launch Sistema Q, a new coffee capsule compatible with all Delta Q machines, expecting to reach a 10% market share of the Sistema Q market still this year.
KAFFA, compatible with Delta Q machines, comes to reinforce the company's positioning, regarding the development of new products and the creation of new opportunities for the final public, which in addition to its quality, has a very competitive value.
Similarly to what was already done when capsules compatible with Nespresso machines were introduced, the product will be launched in a promotional package (box of 10 capsules + 2 free capsules, at a unit price of €0.208/capsule), in the versions Forte, Média, Suave and Decaf, with its references available in some major distribution chains.
By the end of this year KAFFA Cafés intends to reach sales of over 200 million capsules, representing a 200% growth in total sales over the previous year.
Óscar Galvão, President of Galvão & Noronha, the company that owns KAFFA Cafés, says that "with this new launch, we intend to meet the preferences of Portuguese consumers. We are aware that this is a very competitive market, which is why we are betting on a wider offer, making available a wide range of capsulated coffee".
"Currently we are already national leaders in the production of encapsulated coffee. In 2014, we opened the first KAFFA plant outside Portugal, specifically in Brazil, and strengthened our international position, confirming that, at a European level, we are one of the most important players in the market," he adds. Óscar Galvão, "We are very pleased with the results we have been getting and confident in the year 2015."
