KAFFA will close 2023 with sales in the international market exceeding 3.3 million euros, with the export market already accounting for 9% of the brand's sales.
For 2024, the growth trend continues and forecasts point to sales of around 3.8 million euros.
The internationalization effort, which already had a strong boost in 2023, will be reinforced in 2024 with the hiring of two new members for the international team: Luis Silva, an experienced professional in the management of sales teams in the FMCG market who has moved from SelPlus, and Rodrigo Mesquita, who has a degree in International Relations from Universidade Lusíada.
The results we achieved last year in the export area show that the expansion strategy we have defined for international markets is a winner.
"In 2023 we set out to present the entire Kaffa product portfolio (which includes coffee beans and ground coffee and the new generation of capsules for the main coffee systems) and today the export business is on an upward and consistent trajectory: we have consolidated our positioning, we are currently one of the strongest and most relevant international players and in terms of sales we predict that in two years the export market will reach 20% of the company's sales, with continued growth in current projects" says Pedro Henriques, KAFFA's Commercial and Marketing Director, adding ""We have identified numerous international trade fairs where we want to continue to be present in 2024 and the reinforcement of the sales team with two more people will allow us to continue the work of approaching other markets by presenting the Kaffa portfolio more closely to international customers.
