Three men of different generations, united by the same passion, coffee. The first of which is Adriano Telles, who starts the business of trading coffee and other beverages in Brazil, in the state of Minas Gerais. Over the years he makes his fortune and gains experience in the coffee industry, buys factories, and builds Casa Telles.
The next challenge is to introduce his coffee to Portugal, where he returns in 1908. He moves on to what would later be considered one of the most famous coffee houses in Portugal and Europe. The Brazilian. It opens stores in Porto, Lisbon, and Coimbra and definitively changes the consumption habits of the Portuguese.
Coffee was undoubtedly the great passion of Adriano Telles' life. In your family, the following generations inherit it and perpetuate it.
In 1960, his grandson, Óscar Telles de Noronha Galvão, created a coffee roasting and commercialization factory - Cafa - Armazéns de Café, Lda.
His great-grandson, Óscar de Deus Telles de Noronha Galvão not only continues his father's company, now called Kaffa Cafés, but also establishes the future foundations of a company that, despite its family tradition, is today one of the most important players in Portugal and Europe in the production of coffee capsules.
